What is CTPAT?

Started in November 2001, the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) program brings CBP together with the trade community to improve border security and strengthen international supply chains. Key stakeholders in the supply chain community – importers, carriers, consolidators, manufacturers – work with Customs and Border Protection to maintain a safe and efficient trade process, and protect what is imported into America.
